ANCHORAGE---The Alaska Native Cultural Charter School is preparing to move from its Muldoon strip mall location, to the Pacific Northern Academy building off of Bragaw St., by the 2013-2014 school year.  In turn, PNA is set to move to a new location off of Abbott Loop Rd.

Officials announced the relocation Wednesday night to students and parents.  Most appeared to be particularly excited over the chance for a better parking lot, a real gymnasium and playground.

"Our playground right now is a 20 x 40 patch of snow, that's it--- there is nothing there," said Patsy Shaha, Principal for ANCCS.  "You should see the kids when they are there, they still run and play with the brilliant jubilant faces of children, but it's just not good enough."
