From the Anchorage bowl to the highlands of Scotland, the lines were blurred for the weekend's festivities.

The Alaska Scottish Highland Games is a 30-year tradition of rich culture and athletic competition.

Some of the events include the tug-of-war, the hammer toss and the caber.
