UPDATE- Missing infant, Max Galo has been recovered, according to APD and both parents are also accounted for.

UPDATE- APD has issued two arrest warrents in the case of the missing three day old toddler, Max Galo. Both the mother, Monica Kate Vasquez and the father, Taimato Galo Jr. have been charged with one count of criminal non-support.

Detectives have issued an Amber Alert for the infant and do believe he is danger. Anyone with information should contact APD 786-8900.

ANCHORAGE - Police are investigating a possible abduction of a child from the Alaska Native Medical Center around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. (10/2)

Detectives say Monica Vasquez, 30, is the biological mother of the child, however, because of her actions police are seeking the woman and child. Detectives are concerned for the safety of both the mother and child.

Vasquez is 5'6" and weighs 200 pounds. If you know further information regarding this incident, please contact APD 786-8900.
