A national trend is holding true in anchorage this election year - a shortage of election workers. The Municipality of Anchorage is currently recruiting additional workers for the April 1st elections. With one hundred and twenty two polling places across the city, there are plenty of positions to be filled.

There are a few requirements such as being a registered voter in Anchorage, remaining non-partisan while at the polling place and taking some mandatory training.
