BBB warns of IRS scam

Anchorage, AK-- The Alaska Better Business Bureau is warning Alaskans of a scam this tax season.

Because of a busy tax season, people from the lower forty eight have reported being contacted by scammers claiming they are the IRS. They reportedly say you still owe taxes and demand credit card numbers and other personal account over the phone. If you do not comply, they then threaten to arrest you .
