Cannabis Course Coming To Alaska
Experts say Alaskans can prosper if weed becomes legal
The Alaska Cannabis Institute wants to educate Alaskans about the business of marijuana and make some good money while doing it.
For a pre-registration fee of $420 dollars they say they can help the average Alaskan figure out if being in the business of marijuana is for them.
Of course that would all be contingent on the legalization of the drug in the August 19Th primary.
Organizers of the coarse believe it is not if such legislation will pass but when. They say the marijuana issue will not be going away any time soon and Alaska should tax and regulate the substance now like Washington and Colorado.
"In order for the cannabis industry to work there needs to be a tracking system from seed to sale because they want to make sure the medicine is not getting into the hands of kids" said Cory Wray event manager.
