ANCHORAGE- Anchorage police say they have arrested a driver accused of sideswiping a coffee stand in a crash that injured the barista inside.

The driver who briefly fled on foot was arrested Tuesday for investigation of drunken driving, assault, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief.

Police say the car crossed both a median and oncoming lanes, going airborne before hitting the coffee stand.

Police spokeswoman Dani Myren says the Arctic Grounds Coffee Company barista suffered apparently minor injuries, likely when items inside the stand fell and hit her.

Myren identified the arrested man as 28-year-old Patrick Michael Osbon.
