ANCHORAGE- A Nikiski man was seriously injured in an afternoon crash on the Kenai Spur Highway.

45-year-old Darral G. Langston on Thursday was driving north in a pickup and collided with a southbound sedan driven by 67-year-old Jack V. Porter of Nikiski.
Alaska State Troopers say Porter made a left turn and didn't yield to Langston.
Medics rushed Langston to Central Peninsula Hospital. Troopers say his injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
Officers issued a citation to Porter for failure to yield to oncoming traffic.
Neither Porter nor a passenger in the car, Porter's wife, were injured in the crash.
