Crude Oil Refineries Close Doors Despite Boom in Lower Forty Eight

The U.S. Department of Energy is suggesting that U.S. refineries have been processing record amounts of crude oil recently.

As a result, there is an increase in both domestic demand and foreign exports.
But recently in Alaska, oil refineries have been forced to close.
