ANCHORAGE-- For those who've had a person they love go missing, one issue sometimes struggled with, is feeling frozen in time, while the rest of the world goes on.  As the years pass, new headlines are made and the names involved in cold cases often fade from the limelight.

One family coping with this situation is that of Damon Bonds, who would of turned 40 this year.  The Bonds family has been searching for Damon since he went missing back in 2004 from Delong Lake in Anchorage.

"Somebody has got to have seen something somewhere, " said Damond's sister Courtney Broussard. "No matter how irrelevant or how small you think it is, come forward, we can get answers."

Where is Damon Bonds? The question has and will continue to haunt Broussard and those who miss him the most.

"I'll never forget since I was the one who got the phone call, "  Broussard said in a Skype interview from Texas. "Anchorage police called me about 6:30 a.m. to tell me they were investigating suspicious activity regarding my brother, they found his truck at Delong Lake.

In her blog, Broussard says officials found Damon's truck unlocked with the keys inside.  Also allegedly found in the vehicle was his cell phone and dog.  Broussard claims the dog was a faithful companion, one that he had spent a fortune to rehabilitate after an accident when others had said to have her put down.  Those who know Damon say he wouldn't of left the animal he loved so much.

His family is asking the public to please contact police if they have any information at 907-786-8900.
