ANCHORAGE- A man charged with trying to elude Alaska State Troopers in Fairbanks was wanted in Anchorage on a weapons charge.

Troopers say 24-year-old Henry Lamont Covington Mason Jr. was arrested Sunday after his vehicle struck two others.
He remained jailed Tuesday at Fairbanks Correctional Center. A state online database did not indicate that an attorney had been appointed in the case.
Troopers early Sunday took a call of an erratic driver.
Troopers say Mason struck a pickup on University Avenue and a light pole and small sedan at Peger Road.
Troopers say Mason and a 17-year-old girl in the SUV fled on foot but were detained.
A felony warrant claimed Mason in July fired a gun at two women outside an Anchorage home.
