ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage woman accused of stealing identities and credit cards is wanted by police.

APD Detective Clint Thomas considers Joanna Lee Stanley, 45, one of the most prolific criminals operating in Anchorage and is asking the public for help in locating her whereabouts.

She has 3 active warrants for her arrest including scheme to defraud, criminal impersonation, theft and forgery.

Police say no credit card is safe when she is in the store as she tries to copy down the credit card number or steal them. Stanley is accused of checking into hotel rooms using stolen credit cards and hosting 'over-the-top' drug parties, paid for using the stolen identities and credit cards.

The 45-year-old changes her appearance frequently, and based on her DMV photos, has more than 4 different looks she goes by. She is 5'6" weighs 145 lbs and has brown eyes. She also has a flower tattoo on her right ankle and a surgical scar on her right arm.

If you have seen Stanley or know of her whereabouts, contact police at 786-8900.
