ANCHORAGE - Midnight Sun Service dogs gained world-wide attention after posting a Facebook status saying they may have to shut their doors for good.

The organizations founder; April Merchant says after posting to the social networking site she recieved an outpouring of support from all over the world.

Someone in Australia, another in Virginia and of course dozens of donations from the last frontier.

Merchant says within 48 hours donations have reached to over 8,000 dollars just shy of the 10, 000 they need to stay alive.
