The former hospital in Nome is for sale.

Reports say the building that housed the old Norton Sound Health Corp. hospital has been listed on eBay, Craigslist and elsewhere by investors that include state Sen. Donny Olson, a Democrat from nearby Golovin.

Norton Sound sold the building May 2 for about $450,000.

Olson and Jim Gribbens formed a limited liability company, G-O LLC, to buy the building and are listing it for $2.5 million.

Marketer Jessa Youngblood says the 55,000-square-foot structure could be used for housing, office space, assisted living or other purposes.
