Honoring Cheryll Heinze: A Cherished Community Member
(Palmer, AK) Former Alaska State Representative Cheryll Heinze died late last night in Homer, after a plane crash, according to troopers. officials say she had been among five people on board, who suffered minor injuries. Most recently Heinze was employed with the Matanuska Electric Association in Palmer. Co-worker and spokesperson Kevin Brown says she and other MEA workers, flew to Homer last night for a fishing trip. Tragically, officials say the float plane crashed during a landing attempt. Heinze is a woman who touched many peoples lives and we'd like to give you a very small glimpse into what kind of special woman the community says she was and is. Watch the above video for details. |
