BETHEL- A 54-year-old Kwethluk man is safe after he spent a night outside in subzero temperatures when his snowmobile broke down.

Vladimir Jackson departed from Kwethluk last Thursday and headed to Russian Mission on his snowmobile.
Alaska State Troopers say Jackson was towing another snowmobile in a wooden freight sled when his machine got stuck and he was unable to restart it.
Jackson was reported overdue five hours after he began a trip that usually takes three to four hours.
Searchers set out from Kwethluk, Russian Mission and Akiachak to look for Jackson. He was found by Russian Mission search crews last Friday.
