ANCHORAGE - A locally owned small business opens its doors in east Anchorage.

Rae Rae's Coffee Shop and Cafe is open on 6307 DeBarr Road.

Rae Rae's currently has two espresso drive-thru locations on Dimond Blvd and Dowling Blvd. Owner and operator, Raeshell Flores, said she has always wanted to open a cafe to not only serve food and coffee but give customers free Wi-Fi and a cool space to study or grab coffee with a co-worker.

Flores says the key to her business success has been consistency.

"I've been really lucky too because I've met so many amazing people," said Raeshell Flores, Owner of Rae Rae's. "I've been able to meet other small business owners and see them start and build their own business so I've been very lucky to be able to meet a lot of new people every day."

Rae Rae's Cafe is tentatively open 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
