Local Groups Prepare Families In Need For School

A few things kids need to prepare for the new school year are supplies and clothing. The Salvation Army and local partners are helping families make that a reality, even if they may be struggling to make ends meet.

For 12 years now, the HUGSS (Helping Us Give School Supplies) and Coats for Kids project has provided backpacks, school supplies and winter coats to help Anchorage students prepare for school.
