Local Independent School Stays Open to Honor MLK

ANCHORAGE - Many businesses and schools were closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day. One independent school, Pacific Northern Academy, uses this day to hold school and reflect on his legacy.

This year administrators let students research Dr. King and create their own performance.
