ANCHORAGE - A local athletic apparel store's weekly pub-run brought out hundreds of runners, Tuesday to honor victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing.

The three-mile run started at Skinny Raven Sports and ended at McGinleys pub. Runners wore black bibs with the date of the bombing printed in white.

Officials say the run was a chance for the running community to come together during a tough time as friends.

This is totally awful, the peace loving people of America must stand up to these cowards who commit such inhuman acts. Do not go home and bury your head in the sand, stand up and throw the sand in the face of these terrorist and continue our daily lives, yes maybe be more alert of your surroundings, but get out there and show acts like this won't make us hide from them!
