Local Shop Owner says New Angler Restrictions Hurting Business

by Whitney LB Miller

ANCHORAGE - The Alaska Department of Fish and Game announced new angler restrictions Thursday, that will affect fisheries in the Cook Inlet.

Officials are predicting below average King salmon runs and say these pre-season regulations will help keep fisheries open all season long.

The most restrictive of the new rules will affect valley fisheries. However, a local area supplier says staying in business is harder with the new restrictions.
