Loved Ones Greet Soldiers Returning Home From Overseas

ANCHORAGE -- 300 Soldiers arrived at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Thursday, after a 10 month long deployment in Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom.

About 90 percent of the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division is now back in Alaska. The remaining soldiers of the brigade are scheduled to arrive in Anchorage this weekend.

Hundreds of family members, friends and loved ones gathered to welcome the troops.  Sen. Mark Begich also joined in the festivities.
