A 21-year-old Fairbanks man suspected of entering the women's locker room at the University of Alaska Fairbanks has been charged with misdemeanor "indecent viewing."

Reports say Calvin Robert Ackiss was arrested Thursday.

Prosecutors say he entered a Patty Center locker room and was arrested after a woman reported him watching her shower.

Prosecutors say Ackiss was recorded on surveillance video last week entering the locker room six times within 30 minutes.

He was followed out by the woman who filed the complaint. Police say he changed clothes and went in twice more about 40 minutes later.

Ackiss told police he thought he was entering the men's locker room until he saw the woman. He says he returned to apologize.

He is free on $250 bail.
