by Whitney LB Miller

ANCHORAGE - In a letter Mayor Dan Sullivan denied an offer of a one year wage freeze from several unions in exchange for tabling a new labor ordinance that would set new standards for the conduct of labor negotiations.

Both sides weight in.

Mayor Sullivan, I am with you! Continue - please, on the path you are on...You are strong, and, I really appreciate you for your dedicated stance.. For a very long time I have believed that the Unions are using and abusing us, for their own benefits. My utility bills can very easily verify this, and I am a senior citizen of 82 years.

The mere fact that the Mayor has the authority to deny anything scares the hell out of me. WE the VOTERS should have ALL SAY in what will and will not be. I say, take it to the Citizens to VOTE!!
