Military Police Heading Back to Alaska

Army officials say 50 soldiers are due back in Alaska on Friday following a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan.

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON- Army officials say 50 soldiers are due back in Alaska on Friday following a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan.
   
According to officials, the soldiers are assigned to the 793rd Military Police Battalion at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage and the 472nd Military Police Company at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks.
   
The soldiers are set to arrive at JBER first.
   
Those based at Fort Wainwright will then fly to Fairbanks.
