JUNEAU- The second session of the 28th Alaska Legislature starts Tuesday.

The House is scheduled to gavel in at 1 p.m., and the Senate at 2 p.m. The session is scheduled to run 90 days, ending April 20.
The first day is typically light, and no committee meetings were listed on the Legislature's website.
Legislative leaders expect plans for advancing a major gas pipeline project, education and state spending levels to be among the major issues this session.
Gov. Sean Parnell will deliver his fifth State of the State address before a joint session of the Legislature on Wednesday evening.
