Notorious serial killer Robert Hansen dies

     Robert Christian Hansen, the man who raped and murdered at least seventeen women in Anchorage, has died Thursday at the Alaska Regional Hospital. 
     
According to a report released by the Alaska Department of Corrections, Hansen's health had been declining for the past year.
 
Known from his alter ego, "Butcher Baker," Hansen was being held at the Spring Creek Correctional Center in Seward where he was serving a 461 year life sentence.
     
Cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
