For Coco and his staff at Best Buy on Dimond Boulevard, Thursday was a very busy day thanks to the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend. "We have some really good deals right behind you," said Coco as he motioned to items on a shelf. "We have a beautiful dining room set for $75 off," said Taylor. The sales stretch further than just high tech gadgets and furniture. Car dealerships across Anchorage are trying to intice some Alaskans to use use their PFD to splurge on a new vehicle. One dealership expanded it's inventory in preparation for this weekend. |
