FAIRBANKS - The Fairbanks Fire Department and police are investigating a structure fire that began shortly before 6 p.m. New Year's day at the U.S post office located at 315 Barnette Street.
Crews arrived within minutes of the report and discovered the fire involved a person who had been sleeping on the floor of the PO Box hallway.
