ANCHORAGE - Anchorage police have arrested a 15-year-old East High School student suspected of threatening a school shooting.

The juvenile's name was not released.

Police say the boy was playing online video games with two out-of-state players. The Anchorage boy reportedly made a statement about a school shooting. One of the other players told his parents, who alerted a school administrator.

The Anchorage youth has been charged with terroristic threatening.

He was taken to McLaughlin Youth Center.

Anchorage School District officials say the boy has been suspended pending expulsion by the school board.

Police continue their investigation.
