Police Searching for Shooting Suspect

Update: Police are asking for assistance in identifying a vehicle witnesses reported seeing leaving the area. The occupants of a red sedan may have been involved or witnessed the shooting.

 

Police are still searching for a shooting suspect. Authorities shut down E 42nd St. between Dale and Piper st. Where a little after 1:15 this Tuesday police say a man called 911; reporting he had been shot in the leg.
When investigators arrived they found the victim outside and Immediately rushed him to the hospital in serious condition. Detectives say it is unclear weather or not the shooting actually took place outside where the victim was found.
Police are not releasing the name of the victim nor any information about the description of the suspect.
