Police Seize Vehicle Wanted in Hit-and-Run

Detectives seize the red 1984 Pontiac Fiero they believe was involved in a hit and run. No arrests or charges have been made as of Wednesday (9/26) evening.

ANCHORAGE - Detectives with the Anchorage Police Department Traffic Unit seize the red 1984 Pontiac Fiero they believe was involved in a hit and run collision September 20 in midtown.

Detectives interviewed the driver who was not the registered owner of the vehicle. No arrests or charges have been made as of Wednesday (9/26)evening. Police are not releasing anymore information.

Last Thursday night (9/20) Zachary Mohs was crossing West 45th and Arctic Boulevard near the Tudor intersection when he was struck by the suspected Pontiac Fiero. He was immediately transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
