Police seek jewelry thief

Anchorage police are seeking the public's help in identifying and finding a jewelry thief.

ANCHORAGE- Anchorage police are seeking the public's help in identifying and finding a jewelry thief. 

Police say they have recieved multiple reports of a man going to jewelry stores, earning the trust of the staff, and then taking off with pieces of jewelry. 

So far, 3 local stores have been hit.

Police say the suspect leaves the store in a blue Ford Explorer with yellow license plates. He is said to have a tattoo with text on his left wrist, and earrings in both ears. 

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 561-STOP.
