The letter speaks of an integrated team of over 200 professionals combining their collective talent, advancing an understanding of what will be required for natural gas experts from Southcentral Alaska.
The companies have also established a co-operative frame work with the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation.
Other current work includes; Assessing the use of the existing Prudhoe Bay field facilities, mapping multiple pipeline routing variations, assessing multiple pipeline sizes and providing for at least five in state gas off take points.
Governor Parnell expressing approval of the movement taking place.
"I am encouraged that the companies have made significant progress in advancing a project and an associated schedule for commercializing North Slope gas," Parnell said. "Clearly, they have fully shifted their efforts to an Alaska LNG project."
