JUNEAU- The state is again pushing back the scheduled return of the ferry Tustumena to service.
The Alaska Marine Highway System, in a release, says recent inspections found that some repairs made at Seward Ship's Drydock don't meet regulatory standards. That will require additional time to address.
The ferry is now scheduled to return Aug. 20.
The date has been pushed back repeatedly since the ferry first went in for work last November, with a July 23 date expected before Wednesday's announcement of another delay.
