Education Link: Kognito At-Risk

ANCHORAGE -  An interactive way for educators and staff to train for free on their own time, to recognize the signs of suicide and distress when it comes to their students, is now available in Alaska.

According to officials the program has seen success in the lower 48, giving teachers and administrators the tools to deal with at risk students.

With Alaska leading the nation for suicide rates, some say programs like these could be important for our highest risk age category 15 to 24.
