Anchorage, AK-- Earlier Tuesday, over 100 troops off JBER base finally came home today after nine months of serving as chemical preventionist to soldiers stationed in places like Kuwait and Jordan.

Families gather at one of the many rec centers on base, impatiently waiting for their loved ones to arrive.

They say the feelings are overwhelming.

" It was very hard, emotional, and over whelming, but I managed to get through it. " Monterrika William, Wife and mother says.
