ANCHORAGE- Two men aboard a Hong Kong-flagged ship were rescued and flown to Seattle with severe burns.

Coast Guard officials says the Astoria Bay was near the tip of the Alaska Peninsula, close to the Aleutian Islands when the incident occurred.

The two men were injured Tuesday while working on the boiler systems. When their conditions worsened Wednesday, the Coast Guard dispatched a Medivac helicopter.

The two men are currently receiving treatment at the Seattle Burn Center.
