ANCHORAGE, Ak--  The United States Honor Flag has made its way to Alaska to celebrate our nation's independence.

The flag will be presented at fallen Anchorage Police Office Justin Wollam's memorial.

It will be on display at the Hilton Hotel Thursday night, and the main event in the Fourth of July parade.

For the first time custom gloves have been made so the general public will get an opportunity to handle the Honor Flag.

Special gloves used on the international space station will be presented to APD in honor of Officer Justin Wollam

The Honor Flag has been to one thousand tributes and funerals all over the nation and traveled more than seven million miles.
