U.S. Senator Mark Begich Addresses Alaska LegislatureBegich troubled by pending cuts to school budgets
JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - U.S. Sen. Mark Begich is calling out the Parnell administration and state lawmakers in his address to the Alaska Legislature.
Begich says he knows it's popular to "bemoan" federal overreach and "file a lawsuit weekly" over perceived overstepping. He said he's engaged in fed-bashing, too, "when it gets results." Much of the legislature's attention this session has been on federal overreach, with resolutions opposing the president's executive actions on guns and urging Congress to limit overreach in state resource management. The Democrat said there must be a commitment to education on the federal, state and local levels. He said he's "troubled" by pending cuts in Alaska school districts. He says he's worried about trends to make voting more difficult in Alaska, particularly for Alaska Natives and other minority groups. |

Perhaps these cuts wouldn't be necessary if Mark Begich would have been fiscally responsible. He cooked the books because to get elected and left Anchorage a financial mess. His spending addiction continues on in DC creating a very bleak future for the country. obamacare itself has cost a rapidly growing number of Alaskans to be without coverage due to the rapid increase of healthcare costs and coverages, ironically enough, and the growing number of taxes cropping up from within legislative fiscal catastrophe, all supported by Begich and lock step democratic, liberal religion, mentality.
