Anchorage, AK - Students got involved in their own Town Hall meeting Wednesday at Bartlett High School.

United States Senator Mark Begich and US Senator Cory Booker from New Jersey spoke to the teens about getting involved in their communities and making a difference.

Both Senators encouraged the students to see what they wanted to change in the world and then be part of the solution.

"Sometimes when you sit with young people they're enthusiastic, they see the future, but sometimes may not see the path. And what I think we were hopefully showing them today was there are multiple pathways that they can be engaged in to change the city, the community, the state, the country they live in, and that's what I hope they walk away with, just this view that there's a lot of great things they can be engaged in, and what they can do by their participation," said US Senator Mark Begich.

After the presentation, students conducted a Town Hall question and answer session with both Senators.
