(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) It takes more then just a license to be able to burn rubber and that's what students at the All-American auto maker, Ford's driving skills class were taught.

Student drivers were  partnered with professionals and put through three different obstacle courses designed for failure.  The obstacle courses are deisgned around the concept of sensory overload to teach drivers how easily they can become distracted.

A class favorite was feeling the horse power kick into overdrive while fish taling a new mustang to learn how to take back control of the vehicle and build driver confidence.

The skills lab travels to high schools across the country.
