Man Kills Self as Police Try to Ask About Wife

Police say a 26-year-old Alaska man shot and killed himself as police tried to pull him over to ask about his missing wife.

ANCHORAGE- Police say a 26-year-old Alaska man shot and killed himself as police tried to pull him over to ask about his missing wife.

 
According to Bristol Bay Borough police, Kyle Dale William Anderson committed suicide Friday evening after officers attempted a traffic stop.
 
Anderson's 24-year-old wife, Reanna Anderson, was reported missing by her mother on Friday. She was last known to be at her home in King Salmon, a small town at the northeast end of the Alaska Peninsula.
 
The Bristol Bay Borough Police Department is searching for her, along with the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Katmai National Park Rangers and community volunteers.
 
Bristol Bay Borough Police are asking anyone who was in contact with Reanna Anderson after 6 p.m. on Tuesday to call them at 907-246-4222.
