I remember very well one of Monsanto's aberrations: Agent Orange. Monsanto helped themselves to government money while helping the government rid itself of its responsibility to Vietnam Vets by killing them off. And now Monsanto thinks it can 'improve' on Mother Nature in Alaska? Another case of FDA caving to big business.

AS the 'frankenfish' have not been thoroughly tested, I feel that continuing with distribution is folly. From all that I have researched, it is said that they are VERY aggressive. If they escape into the wild...and they will...they will quickly take over the ocean population like the pike have when introduced into Alaskan waters. This is very serious. The FDA is endorsing products that have not been thoroughly tested. WE get to be the 'guinea pigs'. Enough is enough!!! Why try to improve on 'Mother Nature'? So far, Monsanto's aberrations have proven to be non supportive of better health for U.S. consumers. Also true of FDA 'approved' drugs which kill more than they help. The projected 'good' of their products have not materialized. We need better solutions which have been thoroughly tested. Actually, the natural 'wild caught' Alaskan Salmon don't need 'improvement!!
