JUNEAU- U.S. Rep. Don Young has voted in support of legislation that would prevent the Internal Revenue Service from implementing any part of the federal health care overhaul.
The bill marked the 40th time the Republican-led House has passed legislation aimed that the health care law. It is expected to be a non-starter in the Senate.
Young, in a statement, said he proudly supported the measure. He says giving more "money and power" to the IRS, to enforce the health care law, is bad policy.
Young has used terms like "train wreck" to describe the health care law, which he has supported repealing.
