The Coast Guard suspended its search for the remaining five people that are missing after a crab fishing boat sank near Sutwik Island on New Year’s Eve.

Seven people were aboard the Scandies Rose when it sank on Tuesday night. Two of the passengers were rescued from a life raft. After exhausting all leads and careful consideration of survival probability, the Coast Guard suspended the active search pending new information or developments.
