Hometown Hero: Specialist Christopher Kunze

Specialist Christopher Kunze is a 13B Cannon Crewmember assigned to Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division.

He has been in the Army for 3 years.

His hometown is Marysville, Ohio.

He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012, while there he was a Tactical Explosive Detector Dog (TEDD) handler.

His dog pictured is a German Shepherd named “Karo”.

He is married to his wife Megan Kunze.

He joined the Army in 2011 to experience new things and accomplish personal goals.

His hobbies include watching and playing sports and playing with his husky/lab mix, “Kane.”
