One man is dead following a Tuesday diving accident in Ketchikan.

KETCHIKAN- One man is dead following a Tuesday diving accident in Ketchikan.


South Tongass Fire Chief Steve Rydeen reports that two men were diving from a boat in the Mountain Point area, but one didn't make it out of the water.


He says the body has been recovered and taken to Ketchikan Medical Center.


The man wasn't immediately identified.


Rydeen says the investigation into the death continues.
