A Fort Wainwright Soldier is Killed in Small Arms Fire

Private First Class Dustin Paul Napier, 20, from London, Kentucky died in an exchange of small arms fire Sunday afternoon. He was in the city of Galat in Afghanistan's Zabul province.

A Fort Wainwright based stryker soldier is killed in Afghanistan.
Private First Class Dustin Paul Napier, 20, from London, Kentucky died in an exchange of small arms fire Sunday afternoon. He was in the city of Galat in Afghanistan's Zabul province.
Two other stryker soldiers were wounded in the incident.
The army says Napier joined the service in July 2010 completed basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia and arrived in fort wainwright in November of 2010.
His brigade was deployed in April for a one year tour.
