Fairbanks Man Handed 18-year Sentence for Abuse

A 38-year-old Fairbanks man convicted of sexual abusing minors has been sentenced to 18 years in prison

FAIRBANKS - A 38-year-old Fairbanks man convicted of sexual abusing minors has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
   
Daniel F. Weir in an agreement with prosecutors pleaded guilty to three counts of felony sexual abuse of a minor.
   
Prosecutors say he molested three victims between 2005 and 2012.
   
He was sentenced Thursday by Superior Court Judge Douglas Blankenship.
